چکیده
Abstract This chapter aims to propose a general model of measurement process, consistent with the ontological and epistemological commitments developed in previous chapters. Starting from premise that any is grounded on an empirical we characterization methods related complementary roles informational components, by broadly distinguishing between direct indirect measurement, where measurements necessarily include at least one measurement. The stages are then analyzed exemplified reference both physical psychosocial properties. basis for discussing once again quality now described terms requirements object-relatedness (“objectivity”) subject-independence (“intersubjectivity”).

like any other learning activity, translation is a problem solving activity which involves executing parallel cognitive processes. the ability to think about these higher processes, plan, organize, monitor and evaluate the most influential executive cognitive processes is what flavell (1975) called “metacognition” which encompasses raising awareness of mental processes as well as using effectiv...
quality of life and its measurement
quality of life is now considered an important health outcome and in many types of research measuring quality of life is an integral part of the assessment of health interventions. this article focuses on the differences that exist between the numerous definitions of quality of life and the instruments developed for its measurement.
متن کاملQuality of life and its measurement: important principles and guidelines.
BACKGROUND The importance of the valid assessment of quality of life (QOL) is heightened with the increased use of the QOL construct as a basis for policies and practices in the field of intellectual disability (ID). METHOD This article discusses the principles that should guide the measurement process, the major interrogatories (i.e. who, what, when, where, why, and how) of QOL measurement, ...
متن کاملOn the concept of coupling, its modeling and measurement
Although measurement is of importance, the diculty to develop sound measures should not be underestimated. If a quality we want to assess is ambiguous, it is unlikely to develop reliable measures. For the fundamental concept of coupling, we reveal that there is a big dierence between the commonly perceived essence of coupling and its usual de®nition. We show also that the classi®cation of ®ve...
متن کاملMeasurement and Modeling of Acridine Solubility in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide
Supercritical carbon dioxide has gained increasing attention in food and pharmaceutical processing owing to the fact that it is environmentally inexpensive, not flammable, essentially non-toxic, and it has a convenient critical point. Also, it has been attracting much attention in many fields, such as extraction of sensitive materials and pharmaceutical processing and polymerization processes. ...
